The subtle but swaggering electro-noir single ‘Sour Milk’ was picked up by BBC Introducing before she found herself with a Track Of The Week on Radio One and tearing up Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist. With a fire inside her and now signed to AWAL, Dylan is finding a strong connection with a very dedicated fanbase tied to her stories of passion, confusion and the pitfalls of coming of age in 2020 – as showcased on her debut EP ‘Purple’. Having already taught herself piano and guitar, it was at that age that she formed her first band and started writing her own songs. Weaned on AC/DC, Guns N’ Roses and Aerosmith, she admits that she “fully trained, in my dad’s eyes, to be a proper rock god by the time I was 11”. Dylan, the name her parents would have called her if she were a boy, was “brought up on pure rock n’ roll” as a child.
